Dr Luci Wiggs
Luci is a chartered psychologist who has been involved with clinical research into sleep, its disorders and treatments and the effects of sleep disruption on daytime functioning for over twelve years. She has focused on the sleep patterns of children and adolescents and their family members. She has published her work in a variety of scientific journals and recently co-edited an internationally authored book about sleep disruption and its treatment in children with developmental disorders. She also contributes to a sleep clinic, for adults and children. Luci has a particular interest in increasing education and understanding about sleep and its disorders, both for professionals and the public. She undertakes teaching and training for a range of professional groups, including psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians, GPs, health visitors and nannies. She is Chair of the European Sleep Research Society’s Education Committee and a member of the British Sleep Society Scientific Committee. |
